History
The Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing, located on the System's main campus at 740 E. State St., Sharon, Pennsylvania, has been educating registered professional nurses since 1899. Following the centennial anniversary in 1999, the School of Nursing curriculum was revised and streamlined to accommodate students in the 21st century. An affiliation with Penn State Shenango took affect in August 2013.
Students are provided with a wide variety of educational opportunities by Masters-prepared faculty. The school has articulation agreements with Youngstown State, Slippery Rock and Pennsylvania State universities.

Information on TEAS registration, admission requirements, admission policy, and admission procedures. Dates to take the TEAS in 2014 are: October 10, 17, 24, and 31; November 7, 14, and 21; December 5 and 12. Time is 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Location is Sharon Hall, Penn State-Shenango.
The TEAS can also be taken at any other location at any time.

Clinical Experience
The School of Nursing prides itself in the quality and quantity of clinical experiences. Students experience varied acute and long-term clinical sites within Sharon Regional including Behavioral Health Services , Cancer Care Center , Diabetes Center, Dialysis, Heart & Vascular Institute , Transitional Care Unit, Women's Center, Advanced Wound Recovery Center, and Emergency Care Center.
Admission Criteria
Acceptance to Sharon Regional's School of Nursing is at the discretion of the Admission Committee and contingent upon passing a health examination. Applicants are selected in accordance with non-discriminatory practices. Financial Aid
The School of Nursing is not currently participating in the Federal Pell Grant and Direct Loan programs (Title IV funding). Scholarships are available from a variety of sources.
