Sharon Regional’s Home Health Agency is a hospital-administered, non-profit home health agency established in 1973. The Agency is licensed by the PA Department of Health and accredited by The Joint Commission).

Home Health extends comprehensive health and related services to those whose needs can be met in the home setting. The advantages of home health care include lower costs, avoiding unnecessary placement in an institution, and the ability to remain more independent in the home setting.

The staff of the Home Health Agency is committed to the Agency mission of providing the highest quality home care services at the lowest possible cost to individuals in their homes.

Skilled Services

Provided under the direction of the patient’s physician and includes:

• Skilled Nursing
• Physical Therapy
• Social Work
• Home Health Aide
• Speech Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Maternal/Infant/Pediatric Home Care

Eligibility

A referral from a licensed physician or dentist is necessary to receive Home Health Care.

Fees

Home Health Care Services may be reimbursed by Medicare, Medical Assistance, worker’s compensation, Veteran’s Administration, commercial insurance, or arrangements can be made for self-pay.

Pennsylvania: Mercer County and the northern portion of Lawrence County.

Home Health provides 24-hour access to a nurse. The office is open weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m., excluding holidays.
