November, 2004 Sharon Regional welcomes new OB/GYN Sharon Regional recently welcomed Robin A. Edwards, M.D., Obstetrics/gynecology, to its medical staff. She is associated with Rebecca M. Hanigosky, D.O., Obstetrics/gynecology, at 295 N. Kerrwood Drive, Hermitage. Dr. Edwards specializes in obstetrics (normal and high risk), gynecology, surgery including laparoscopy, pediatric/adolescent gynecology, family planning, infertility, hormone replacement therapy, breast/ovarian cancer screening, annual pap smears, and other women's health concerns. Dr. Edwards received her medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completed residencies in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Southern Illinois School of Medicine, where she served as chief resident.
