The Lung Center The Lung Center of Sharon Regional offers comprehensive, one-stop lung care from diagnosis and treatment to complete rehabilitation and support services. The Center team of physicians, nurses, therapists and technologists specializes in pulmonary medicine, lung surgery, chest radiology, and oncology. The team works in close collaboration with the patient's primary care physician to provide diagnosis and treatment in all areas of chest medicine. A full line of therapeutic and rehabilitative programs coupled with the most recent technologies available for diagnosis backs this expertise to treat lung-related disorders. An initial visit to The Lung Center, adjacent to Sharon Regional's Cancer Care Center, 2320 Highland Road, Hermitage, may include a complete assessment including diagnostic tests and procedures that will provide the first step to a rapid diagnosis. Lung Center specialists may be consulted on the case to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient's condition. Many of the necessary tests and procedures can be completed during the initial visit. Superior Treatment When a diagnosis is made, the team of specialists works with the patient and their primary care physician to initiate a comprehensive treatment plan designed to effectively manage or alleviate symptoms.
