Lisa Bertolasio, RN, MS, is new coordinator for Diabetes Center

Sharon Regional is pleased to welcome back Lisa Bertolasio, RN, MS, as the new Coordinator of its Diabetes Center, 2395 Garden Way, Hermitage. She returns to Sharon Regional after spending the last several years as the Director of Quality Management for Select Specialty Hospital of Pittsburgh. Bertolasio’s former positions at Sharon Regional include Director of the Diabetes Center and Director of Education Services.

Her diabetes experience includes serving as a Diabetic Educator for both inpatients and outpatients at Sharon Regional; developing Diabetes Self Management Programs for both Sharon Regional and Grove City Medical Center (formerly United Community Hospital); and also obtaining American Diabetes Association Recognition for the Diabetes Outpatient Management Program both at Sharon Regional and Grove City Medical Center. She also worked as a Diabetes Educator for American Healthways in Pittsburgh.

Bertolasio is a graduate of Sharon Regional’s School of Nursing and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University, and Masters of Science in Management and Technology from Carlow University, Pittsburgh.
