Sharon Regional welcomes new vice president for patient care services
Sharon Regional Health System has announced the appointment of Nadine Litman-Korpon,
BSN, MBA, as vice president for patient care services. She is assuming the
duties of Pat Hillebrand, current vice-president for patient care services, who
plans to retire in early 2001. Ms. Hillebrand will stay on with Sharon Regional
for several months in a part-time consulting role.
Ms. Litman-Korpon most recently served as clinical administrator at the Specialty
Hospital of Cleveland and has 10 years or health care management experience. Prior
to that position she was chief nurse and director of medical/surgical, telemetry,
and surgical stepdown at Cleveland's Huron Hospital.
Ms. Litman-Korpon earned a Master's in business administration from Lake Erie
College in Painesville, Ohio, a Bachelor's in nursing from Ursuline College, Pepper
Pike, Ohio, and attended Fairview General Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland.
She holds certifications in nursing administration, critical care, and advanced
cardiac life support.
