Jon Kolb, MS, nominated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Jon Kolb, MS, exercise physiologist at Sharon Regional's Personal Fitness
Center, has been nominated to the Professional Football Hall of Fame. Kolb,
who played guard for the Pittsburgh Steelers and earned four Super Bowl rings,
was one of 78 former players, coaches and contributors nominated. A list of
15 finalists will be announced in mid-January, with the 2000 inductees announced
on January 27, the day before the Super Bowl.
Kolb has been with Sharon Regional for the past four years. He also serves as
an assistant coach to the Grove City College football team. Kolb has a Master's
in exercise science from Slippery Rock University and a Bachelor's in physical
education from Oklahoma State University.
