graduate from Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing
Twenty-three students graduated Friday evening, May 2, from the Sharon Regional
Health System School of Nursing during ceremonies
at Sharon Senior High School. Sarah Mowry, of Greenville, earned the
Nursing Proficiency Award, which faculty presents to the student who best exemplifies
growth during the 16-month program. Miss Mowry demonstrates characteristics
needed to be a competent and caring clinical practitioner. Sarah graduated from
Greenville High School and took her pre-requisite courses at Penn State University--Shenango
Campus.

Ron Errett, Chief Executive Officer of the Mercer County Community Action Agency
and host of the Ron Errett Show on WPIC radio, gave the graduation address.
Nora E. Bennett, MSN, RN, Director of the School of Nursing, presented pins,
and Sherry L. Greenburg, MSN, RNC, Assistant Director of the School of Nursing,
presented the Proficiency Award and Honor Cords.
James Feeney, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Sharon Regional, presented
diplomas. Mary Cole-Hartley, M.Ed., RN, a school instructor, read student's
personal notes of thanks. John Davidson, Vice-President for Human Resources,
was Master of Ceremonies
