Hudson,
James join Sharon Regional board of directors
Two local men with years of community involvement, John M. Hudson and
Kenneth R. James, CPA, recently joined Sharon Regional's board of directors.
Hudson is the principal shareholder and president of Hudson Group Inc. in
Hermitage while James is the chief financial officer for the Windsor House
group of skilled nursing homes and assisted living centers based in Girard,
Ohio.
"I agreed to serve on the board because this institution is a vital part
of our community," says James. "If my work experience can assist in its
continued success and growth, I am honored to serve."
James is a director of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, a board member
of Community Skilled Nursing Centre, Warren, Ohio, and a past committee
member of the Ohio Health Care Association Reimbursement Committee for Skilled
Nursing Facilities. A Youngstown State University graduate, he has specialized
in health care accounting for the past 15 years. James resides in Brookfield
with his wife, Virginia.
Hudson, who also is the managing partner of five partnerships, has 25 years
of diversified experience in construction, construction management, real
estate development, real estate acquisition and disposition, and property
management. Currently, Hudson is an officer on the Thiel College Board of
Trustees, a board member and past president of the F.H. Buhl Club, and a
co-founder of the Hudson Charitable Trust Fund.
He received awards from the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts
of America French Creek Council, Gannon University, and the Bishop of the
Diocese of Erie. Past board affiliations include Penn State Shenango, Penn
Northwest Development Corp., Sharon Historical Society, United Way of Mercer
County, Oak Tree Country Club, Prince of Peace, and the Shenango Valley
Industrial Development Committee. He resides in Hermitage with his wife,
Mariangela, and six children.
"I agreed to serve because I believe it is of the greatest importance to
give back to our community," says Hudson. "I have always believed that Sharon
Regional is the foundation of our community. It is a great honor for me,
as well as my family, to have been asked to serve this institution."
