"Angel Fund" for the holidays

The Sharon Regional Auxiliary presents its "Angel Fund" for the holiday season. The "Angel Fund" follows in the tradition of the former Lights of Love program, which was started in 1985. "The Angel Fund" will support patients at Sharon Regional's Cancer Care Center, 2230 Highland Rd., Hermitage, who may need assistance with medications or household utilities.

Holiday trees are located in lobby of the hospital's Emergency Care Center and the Cancer Care Center. All through the holiday season, the sparkling "Angel Fund" trees will brighten the lobbies and send a message of sharing and caring to passersby. For a donation of $5 or more, a light will be placed on the tree in honor of someone special.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be December 7, 2 p.m., in the lobby of the Cancer Care Center.
