May 7, 2007 23 graduate from Sharon Regional's School of Nursing Twenty-three students graduated Friday evening May 4 from Sharon Regional Health System's School of Nursing during ceremonies at Sharon High School. Jeanne M. Holler, of Sharon, earned the Clinical Proficiency Award, which the faculty presents to the student who best exemplifies attributes needed to be a competent and caring clinical practitioner. Other graduates were: Jayme L. Altenbaugh and Cheryl L. Graham, of Grove City; Susan M. Blanchard, Heather A. Blevins, Noreen M. diGiorgi, Ladonna L. Dunlevy, Jody R. Erme, and Michael B. Hickey, of Hermitage; LeKair C. Smith, of Farrell; Gary W. Gault, of Sandy Lake, Tracy L. McKay, of Greenville; Tabitha D. Miller, of New Wilmington; and Elliott Mrvos, of Hartstown. From Ohio were: Michelle M. George, and Wendy D. Torr, of Hubbard; David W. Brown, Roxanne Brown and Alicia D. Cross, of Warren; Christina M. Kwiecinski, of Girard; David R. Lowry and Diane M. Mosora, of Brookfield; and Debra A. Wrenn, of Youngstown. Kathleen C. Mastrian, RN, PhD., associate professor and nursing program coordinator, Penn State-Shenango, gave the graduation address. James Feeney, chairman of the Health System board of directors, presented diplomas. Nora E. Bennett, MSN, RN, director of the School of Nursing, presented pins. Sherry Greenburg, MSN, RNC, CNE, assistant director of the school, presented the proficiency award and honor cords. |
