Keith Lustig, M.D. Craig Morrison, PA-C
New sports medicine specialist joins Sharon Regional
Sharon Regional Health System is pleased to welcome Keith Lustig, M.D., board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee and hip replacement surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Lustig is joining Ernest W. Swanson, M.D. at the Orthopaedic Center of Western Pennsylvania in Hermitage. Dr. Swanson is in his 30th year of general orthopedic practice in the Shenango Valley.
Dr. Lustig has an extensive background in sports medicine services. He was formerly a member of Northcoast Orthopedics in Erie, a group orthopedic practice specializing in trauma and sports medicine. While in Erie, he also served as medical director of Hamot Medical Center’s Sports Medicine Center, was a team physician for multiple semi-pro, college, and high school teams, was founder and president of Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine of Erie, and also a member of the medical staff of the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children. He is also a former college football (linebacker) coach.
Dr. Lustig is a native of Hermitage and received his undergraduate degree and medical education from George Washington University. He completed his internship at Hamot Medical Center and orthopedic residency at Duke University and Hamot Medical Center.
The Orthopaedic Center is also pleased to welcome Craig A. Morrison, PA-C, MPAS, physician assistant. Morrison has extensive experience in the neurological field, especially related to the care of back and neck problems.
Morrison is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a graduate of Gannon University. He worked for the past four years with Tri-State Neurological Surgeons at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
Completing the team at the Orthopaedic Center is Sam Gibson, PA-C, who has been at the Center for 12 years and has more than 25 years of experience in orthopedic care.
